The Cub Scout banquet landed on the same day as my D&C surgery for the miscarraige. So Grandma T. came and helped the boys finish thier "theme" cake. It took longer for me to heal than I expected - several weeks - but I still made it that night (thanks to pain meds) to see Magillacuttie recieve his hard earned awards. Popernickel also earned his first Cub Scout award! Busy boys...

Gold Sponge award - for two of our new assistnat Den Leaders who are "soaking it all up".
The Golden Knot award for our Cubmaster and Committee Chair because they "tie everything together so well".
The Bright Idea Award for our Den Leaders who come up with clever ideas.

Magilla earned the rest of his 20 Webelos activity badges and a couple belt loops (earned over a 3 month period). He also completed his Arrow of Light which he will recieve next month.
