It is trying to escape through the garden fence...

First chili peppers.

First bell pepper.

First yellow squash.

A squawcumber growing. Apparently the squash I planted in the fall that never grew decided to come up this spring instead of the pumpkins I planted this spring. Some friends warned us that the squash and cucumbers will mix if they grow too close - because they will be cross pollinated. Its kind of fun...some cucumbers are green and normal, and others are yellow with a thicker skin.

Squash.

Cantelope.

Watermelon that grew up my pea wall. I can't believe the watermelons are hanging, and haven't pulled the whole plant down!

More squawcumbers!

The whole jungle. Next time I won't plant so much. I think I was anxious to have something grow since my fall garden didn't do so well.

It grew up the pea wall, and has now attached to the strings at the top of the wall that the peas used to climb.

More watermelon! We have both seeded and seedless growing!

I love these beautiful yellow flowers!
