Hemophilia and a Stubbed Toe

Magilla managed to stub his pinky toe on his right foot. After some ice, he went back to playing. The next day he was still complaining that it hurt, so I examined it further. Turns out there was a bleed under the four little toes and down the side of his foot. You can barely see the faint purple under the skin. Unfortunately we had to infuse, and use crutches for a few days so that it could heal. What a trooper!

This one, above his ankle, was the result of an argument with his brother gone bad. They learned the hard way that when they decide to turn thier fights into physical releases of anger (kicking, etc.), that Magilla usually fares the worst - especailly now that Popernickel is big enough to fight back!
